Katherine J. Hayes

Prior to her association with Saenger Associates, Katherine Hayes had a distinguished eleven-year career with the Los Angeles Area Chamber of Commerce, the premiere business advocacy association in the region. As Director of Human Resources & Administration, Ms. Hayes was responsible for all human resources functions, strategic planning and the recruitment and retention of 75 executive-level volunteer Board Directors. Earlier Ms. Hayes served the Chamber as a legislative manager, managing human resources-related lobbying efforts at the local, state and federal level.

Ms. Hayes holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from UCLA and is a graduate of the Center for Creative Leadership. She was certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources. Ms. Hayes began her career in human resources with Southern California retailer Robinson’s Department Store, where she was responsible for store level recruitment, employee relations, training & development, and compensation and benefits.

Ms. Hayes is involved in animal protection and building a world through kindness to animals. She is an active volunteer with nonprofit shelters. She is knowledgeable of and connected to the animal welfare community. She also devotes time to Henry Mayo Newhall Memorial Hospital Foundation fundraising events.
