Amanda joined the Valor team in November of 2016 and is currently the only JMU Duke. Choosing to study Computer Science may have put an end to her interest in programming but it definitely fueled her enthusiasm for analytical thinking and innovative problem solving.

After college, Amanda spent 3 years in the staffing industry helping  fill various vacancies throughout the Roanoke Valley. – And now she is excited to hone in on maximizing the quality and efficiency of today’s healthcare by assisting Drew as he partners with the most innovative companies in the Health IT industry.

Outside of work you can find Amanda kayaking the James, binge reading a new book, front row at a concert, or attempting to recreate a DIY home renovation project she’s seen on HGTV. But her favorite thing to do by far is disappearing on spontaneous adventures to explore new cities – particularly cities that are close by the ocean.
