Alix Connors

Alix has spent the past decade in the recruiting space with a primary focus on financial services. Prior to joining Opus, she spent two and a half years at Visium Asset Management recruiting portfolio managers and analysts as well as front office professionals. Her primary focused included investment analysts at varying levels of seniority across different investment strategies and industry sectors. Before joining Visium, she worked for OneWire, an online recruiting platform focused on connecting financial professionals with opportunities.

Over her 5 year tenure there, she managed many of the firm’s marque clients and participated in developing strategic partnerships. OneWire originally evolved out of a boutique search firm making placements on Wall Street which is where Alix started her recruiting career.

However, it is at OppenheimerFunds where she originally started working as a member of the online marketing group. Alix graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in French and Communications
