WinterWyman Executive Search Places the VP, Global Controller at Casper Sleep

NEW YORK, June 5, 2017 — WinterWyman Executive Search has placed Robert Mannix, CPA as Vice President, Global Controller at Casper Sleep. WinterWyman Executive Search’s Senior Vice President and Partner Jonathan Mazzocchi led the search.

As Vice President, Global Controller, Mannix will manage Casper’s global accounting organization for efficient and value-added processes while developing, managing and mentoring the Corporate Accounting and Reporting team. He also will be responsible for the integrity, accuracy, timeliness and quality of all controllership, accounting and financial reporting functions worldwide, including all fiscal period close processes, financial systems maintenance, inventory accounting & controls, accounts payable/receivables, internal controls & regulatory compliance procedures, developing financial commentary and leadership of all corporate accounting initiatives.

Before joining Casper, Mannix was the Senior Vice President / Corporate Controller at Verint Systems (NASDAQ: VRNT), a billion dollar, multi-location international company that develops, implements and supports software solutions. Previously, he held multiple financial leadership positions with Motorola (NYSE: MSI), including the Senior Director / Worldwide Controller for their Enterprise Mobility Business and the Senior Director of Financial Reporting / Technical Accounting & Revenue Controller. He also served as the Assurance and Advisory Services Senior Manager for Ernst & Young after working as a Senior Auditor with Gikow, Bierman and Talesnick, CPAs in New Jersey.
