WinterWyman Executive Search Places Senior Vice President of Human Resources at CRISPR Therapeutics

BOSTON, MA, August 22, 2016 — WinterWyman Executive Search has placed Megan Wherry Menner as Senior Vice President of Human Resources at CRISPR Therapeutics, a leading gene-editing company. WinterWyman Executive Search’s Managing Director and Senior Vice President Beverly Morgan led the search.

In her role, Menner will provide strategic and operational leadership in support of the organization’s growth by establishing and overseeing all HR strategy, culture, talent development, total rewards and talent acquisition.

Previously, she held several leading HR positions with Merck KGaA Corporation (XE: MRK), the world’s oldest pharmaceutical and chemical company with 50,000 employees. Her roles included the VP and Head of HR for the MilliporeSigma Life Science Business Sector; VP and Head of HR for the Chemicals Business Sector; VP and Head of HR International for Corporate Human Resources; and VP and Head of HR for EMD Serono, Merck KGaA’s US Pharmaceutical Business. Prior to Merck KGaA, Menner held several increasingly senior HR management positions with Novartis Corporation (NYSE: NVS), including serving as their Director and Global Head, Talent and Culture Development. She holds a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations degree from Cornell and is a published author.
