TMG Places Senior Government Relations Director with Arent Fox

ARLINGTON, VA, July 22, 2016 — The McCormick Group is pleased to have assisted in the placement of Sonja L. Nesbit as Senior Government Relations Director with Arent Fox LLP.

Sonja L. Nesbit joins the firm from the Department of Health and Human Services, where she served as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Legislation for Human Services. Prior to her political appointment at HHS, Ms. Nesbit served as the Deputy Staff Director for the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Human Resources for more than a decade. Ms. Nesbit will work with Arent Fox’s team of leading health care and life science attorneys to advise clients on regulation and potential legislation impacting health and tax policy.
