Edward Richards is COO in Marlin Operations Group, Inc., focused on overseeing internal and third-party operating resources and developing and implementing operational best practices.
Mr. Richards has over 19 years of international experience in transactions, turnarounds and performance improvement. Previously, Mr. Richards was a partner in the transactions group at Ernst & Young, most recently serving as the head of working capital services for the Americas, where he advised private equity sponsors and their portfolio companies on value creation strategies throughout the investment lifecycle. Prior thereto, he was Vice President of Strategy & Business Development at Axon Group plc, a global technology advisory and outsourcing firm, first in Europe and later as a founding member of the Americas business unit, which he helped to grow from launch to $250 million in five years, until its acquisition by HCL in 2008. During his tenure at Axon, Mr. Richards led geographic expansion and sector growth initiatives, conducted acquisition diligence and integration activities, and oversaw transformation programs for clients worldwide. Mr. Richards earned a B.Sc. honors degree from Bristol University and an M.B.A with distinction from Columbia Business School.

Prior to joining Accel-KKR Consulting Group, Steven served as a Director for a boutique search and investment firm, Aequitas Partners, focused on the healthcare technology space. While there, he led national searches for executive-level positions covering all business verticals and interviewed 1000’s of executives whose companies spanned the health-tech landscape. Earlier in his career, he worked with a merchant and investment bank called Etico Capital, successfully placing over $100M in debt and equity funding for growth-stage medical device and life science companies. Additionally, he has served as an advisor for several health-tech businesses, called on by founders & CEOs for people operations and organizational design strategies.
Steven earned his MS in Management from Indiana University at Bloomington.

Prior to joining Francisco Partners Consulting, Ryan worked as a Principal with Green Peak Partners, specializing in talent assessment, executive coaching, and organizational consulting with private equity clients. Ryan previously spent over ten years with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG), where he primarily focused on organizational transformations, pre/post-merger integrations, and turnarounds for software and healthcare IT companies.

Anna Tye is a Managing Director in the Technology group. Ms. Tye focuses on buyout and growth equity investments in enterprise software, financial technology, and tech-enabled services businesses. She is based in Washington, D.C.
Since joining Carlyle in 2009, Ms. Tye has led or been a key contributor to Carlyle’s investments in YipitData, Abrigo, Tribute Technology, Dealogic plc (acquired by ION), ION Group, OpenLink Financial (acquired by H&F), Workforce Logiq (acquired by PRO Unlimited), and Canoe Intelligence. Ms. Tye also assisted with Carlyle’s earlier investments in SS&C Technologies (ticker: SSNC), Open Solutions (acquired by Fiserv), and CPU Technology (acquired by Boeing).
Prior to joining Carlyle, Ms. Tye was with Arcapita in Atlanta as well as with Copper Arch Capital and Morgan Stanley in New York, where she focused on technology companies.
Ms. Tye is currently a member of the boards of YipitData, Abrigo, and Tribute Technology and is a board observer at PRO Unlimited. Previously she was on the boards at Dealogic and Workforce Logiq and a board observer at ION and OpenLink.
Ms. Tye received an MBA from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Business and both a BS in economics and a BA in Spanish from Duke University.
