Signium Welcomes Manuel Gómez Uriarte as Managing Partner in Mexico City

(Jan. 19, 2021) Signium announces Manuel Gómez Uriarte has joined its Mexico City office as Managing Partner responsible for the firm’s growth and positioning in Mexico. Manuel joins one of the country’s key Human Resources consulting firms, including talent management, executive search, and overall human resources advisory and consulting.

Prior to joining Signium, Manuel was Partner in charge of Heidrick & Struggles’ Financial Services practice in Mexico. From 2014 to 2020, Manuel was responsible for serving Mexico’s Financial System, which included Retail and Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Private Equity Funds, Private Banking and Wealth Management, Asset Management, and Insurance Companies. In addition to Financial Services, Manuel was also responsible for serving Infrastructure and Real Estate Industries.

Manuel served as CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Royal Bank of Scotland Mexico S.A. (“RBSM”) from 2011 to 2013. His responsibilities included leadership, management and direction of RBSM. From 1999 to 2013 Manuel acted as Head of Corporate Banking. His responsibilities included the origination and execution of corporate and investment banking.

Manuel holds a Masters in Business Administration at AB Freeman School of Business, at Tulane University (New Orleans, LA) , and a BA in Accounting at Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México ( “ITAM”).
