Taryn Howard

Taryn Howard has worked with Pinetum Partners since its inception and has been affiliated with the Founding Partner since 1992. Taryn brings over 30 years of financial services experience in investment management, private banking, trust, custody, and the insurance sectors.

She has held both line and staff management positions, resulting in a broad organizational perspective and belief that building strong teams enables companies to translate goals into action. Taryn has held senior positions at a number of global financial institutions including ING Investment Management, Union Bank of Switzerland, U.S. Trust and Bankers Trust as well as with several financial industry-focused consulting firms.

Her approach when consulting with clients is balanced and comprehensive insuring success in terms of both the underlying business objectives involved and the organization’s ability to execute.

Pinetum Partners leverages this experience to identify the right candidates for each search. While Taryn’s primary area of expertise is in global financial services, she has also served clients in the not-for-profit, hospitality, healthcare, local government, and communications industries.

She earned a BA cum laude from Union College and a MBA from the Stern School of Business at New York University. She lives outside of Atlanta, GA with her husband who is a tenured professor at Georgia State University.
