Managing Partner - Singapore

Steve Manning is the Managing Partner at N2Growth in Singapore with responsibility for Southeast Asia.  Following several years in Executive Search, Steve founded N2Growth Singapore in 2021 driven by clients’ need for more transparency and inclusion, flexibility, efficiency, and accuracy in candidate alignment throughout the search process.  He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London, and a Master’s degree in Marketing from the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow. He also holds a Certificate in International Management from INSEAD.

Steve began his oil and gas exploration career in the Middle East and subsequently moved to Asia to manage several high technology businesses.  He moved into Electronics Manufacturing Services in the 1990s based in Singapore, but with several years on assignment in Japan and Shanghai.   Steve held senior executive roles managing large-scale operations; sales; marketing, corporate, and business strategy; and building organizations globally. He has worked across many markets, including Consumer, Mobile, Telecoms, Networking, Industrial, Medical Life-sciences, Semiconductor, and Automotive.

Steve’s focus in executive recruitment includes Asia Practice Leader Private Equity and Family Office, and specializations in Industrial, Technology, and functionally in Boards, and Sales and Marketing.  Steve is a seasoned professional, helping clients find exceptional leaders in tune with clients’ markets and culture. With a rare breadth of exposure gained from almost weekly travel over 30 years throughout Asia, Steve has developed an exceptional understanding of the diversity of needs and cross-cultural workforce challenges inherent in doing business across the region.

Steve also specializes in providing experienced interim executive solutions to manage transitions, MBOs, IPOs, mergers, and acquisitions, particularly throughout private equity and venture capital life cycles.  He is also a certified Hogan assessment professional specializing in Corporate Governance, Board Dynamics, and Supervisory Boards.  He is a board member at the National Arthritis Foundation and a committee member at the Singapore Institute of Directors.
