Serge Lamielle serves DHR International as an advisor specializing in IT, Industrial, and Engineering sectors.
Prior to joining DHR, Serge spent over twenty years with Neumann International, a leading player in the European market, while pursuing an international career as an executive search consultant specialized in IT and manufacturing. In his tenure he progressed from partner to managing director to CEO, and also managed the European IT sector practice of Neumann, established and managed the management audit service line, joined the supervisory board of the firm, and vice chaired then chaired the supervisory board. From to 2004 to 2011 Serge actively represented Neumann International at the Association of Executive Search Consultants (AESC), where he vice chaired the global board, and chaired the European Council in 2010 and 2011.
Serge first entered search as senior consultant at the Paris office of Korn/Ferry International, where he was a member of the IT practice and quickly promoted to partner.
Previously, he was finance director of a subsidiary of the Matra Group, active in transportation systems, and later for the whole Automation Group. During his time with Matra, Serge served on several boards including Matra-Datavision, a CAD CAM company active worldwide, and participated in several cross border acquisitions, as well as in the restructuring and selling of businesses in Europe, Asia and the USA.
Serge earned his BA degree at I.E.P. (Institute of Political Sciences) while studying Economics at the University of Aix-en-Provence and then obtained an MBA degree from H.E.C. Paris.
