Rohit Ramani serves as associate partner and is based in the firm’s Mumbai office. He has over 20 years of global experience in the banking, IT, services and consulting industries, including five years of setting up and managing recruitment practices, four years of captive banking resourcing experience, and four years of earlier professional services consulting experience. Rohit is a member of the Advanced Technology and Business & Professional Services Practices.
Prior to DHR, Rohit was executive director, talent management with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Mumbai for more than two years. As part of the HR Leadership team, he led and oversaw talent acquisition and on-boarding across PwC’s India’s Advisory, Tax and Audit practice. Earlier, Rohit was the head of resourcing with Royal Bank of Scotland for five years. In this capacity, he was accountable for managing the entire resourcing function across technology, middle office and back office in India.
In addition, he also managed large scale hiring across multiple sites and consolidated resourcing strategies for the India business. From 2004 to 2009, Rohit was employed as senior client partner/director with Ma Foi Global Search/Emmay HR(Randstad). As a member of the internal steering committee, Rohit was involved in guiding the organization operationally and strategically across the BFSI, IT and ITES Search Practice.
Rohit holds a Bachelor of Administration (Honors) in Economics from Madras University, India and an MBA (HR and Marketing) from International Management Institute, India. His language skills extend from English and Hindi, to Tamil and Gujarati and even French.
