Patricia has four decades of experience in the field of philanthropy. She serves as the founder and principal of Stirling Associates, a leading fundraising and campaign consulting firm in the Bay Area. Prior to establishing Stirling Associates, Patricia served in senior development positions at major institutions of education and health care, including the University of California-San Francisco’s Medical Center and School of Medicine, Stanford University, Mount St. Mary’s College in Los Angeles, and Crespi Carmelite High School in Los Angeles.
Patricia was named the 2013 Hank Rosso Outstanding Fundraising Executive by the Golden Gate Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Executives for “her thoughtful leadership in the philanthropic sector and dedication to advancing the work of nonprofits locally, nationally and internationally”.
Patricia is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and has attended the Institute for Nonprofit Consulting (a David and Lucile Packard Foundation initiative), the Nonprofit Management Institute at Stanford University, the Global Philanthropy Forum, and the Environmental Forum of Marin.
In her free time, Patricia enjoys all the many delights that San Francisco offers, including its museums, theaters, restaurants, fog, and walking the hills with her dog, Finnegan.
