Patricia Gibbs brings to executive search deep experience from a career in higher education. She served in leadership positions in sponsored research, institutional advancement, development and assessment. She has been an adjunct faculty member in the social sciences.
Her roles have ranged from Vice Chancellor to program assistant, so she understands leadership from many perspectives within academe.
Pat has served on committees ranging from curriculum, grievance, honors council, international programs, library, business and finance planning, SACS reaccreditation, to the Chancellor’s cabinet, academic executive council and academic affairs planning council.
Gibbs has facilitated searches for mid-level managers, deans and senior leaders of colleges and universities. She is particularly invested in searches relating to schools/colleges of education, research management, enrollment management and institutional advancement.
Gibbs holds a B.S. and M.S. from Elizabeth City State University and an M.S.W. from Norfolk State University, both in social work, and an Ed.D. in higher education administration from George Washington University.
