Melissa Rush

Melissa has enjoyed being a part of the Soft Goods Industry since 1984. Prior to joining Rush & Company she held a number of key positions in the industry. Most recently Melissa was Eastern Regional Manager for Johns Manville, a Berkshire Hathaway Company, where she managed over $200MM in Sales and was awarded the Arnie Spriggs Award in recognition of Excellence in Building Outstanding Long-Term Relationships that Build Growth Profitably and Customer Satisfaction.

Prior to JM, Melissa worked as Director of Marketing for Hunter Douglas Window Fashions and the General Manager of Fine Denier Nylon for Unifi, Inc. She began her career with Milliken & Company holding a number of manufacturing, sales and marketing roles in their NYC and Spartanburg, SC Headquarters.

She holds a B.S. in Textile Technology from the University of Massachusetts as well as an M.S. Degree in Textile Technology from the Institute of Textile Technology in Charlottesville, VA.

Melissa and her husband reside outside Charleston, SC with their 2 dogs, Sally and Huckleberry, and a cat, Walter, who showed up one day and decided to stay. She is an avid runner and volunteer for non-profit Life Chronicles.
