Max Stubenvoll

Max is a principal in the Consumer and Industrial practices at Acertitude. Based in New York, he is involved in notable search projects for board members, chief executive officers, financial officers, and senior leaders of private equity-backed businesses. His wide range of expertise spans executive search, pre-deal advisory, and strategy consulting across multiple relevant sectors and industries.

Before joining Acertitude, he helped a range of private equity investors with pre-deal search and transaction support assignments as a senior associate on the Consumer & Business Services team at Skillcapital. Prior, Max was a member of the Deals Strategy Team at PwC, undertaking both buy and sell-side due diligence for private equity clients predominantly in the Consumer and TMT verticals. Earlier in his career, Max worked as head of sales at a FinTech start-up. He holds a B.S., Chemistry, and Management from Imperial College London.

Max lives in New York, though the likelihood of finding him here in his free time is improbable (with the exception of exploring the city’s never-ending list of restaurants). He’s constantly adding new cities and countries to the interesting places he’s visited and picking up hobbies like becoming an advanced PADI-certified scuba diver and an investor in fine wine who enjoys the occasional cheese platter. Eager to stay active, Max can also be found cycling, playing soccer, tennis, golf, cricket, or rock climbing.
