Marvene M. Eastham, senior partner in Witt/Kieffer’s Houston office, has worked extensively throughout the South and Southwest with many health systems, hospitals and academic health science centers on executive search assignments. She previously spent eight years in the firm’s Dallas office before opening the Houston office in 1994. She has successfully placed CEOs and other senior executives in both publicly traded and not-for-profit sectors, coupled with extensive experience in Catholic healthcare.
Marvene’s executive search career began in 1979 as a consultant with a national executive search firm and the managing partner of a Dallas-based search firm. Earlier, she was corporate manager of recruitment for Republic Health Corporation, Dallas; a business office manager at Mesquite Community Hospital, Mesquite, TX; and assistant director of human resources at Tarrant County Hospital District, Fort Worth. In addition, she worked for the Texas Governor’s office as director of research for the Texas Advisory Commission on Intergovernmental Relations, Austin. Marvene also served on the Witt/Kieffer Board of Directors and as a regional vice president for the firm for several years. She frequently speaks on issues related to career planning and board recruitment.
Outside of work, Marvene offers her time and leadership to her church and community, where she frequently is called upon to serve as a career coach and advisor.
