Maria Gikas

Maria Gikas is the Administrative Coordinator at Campbell & Company, where she supports the Executive Search team. Since joining the firm in 2019 as an Administrative Assistant to both the Executive Search and Finance teams, Maria has demonstrated her ability to enhance team efficiency and foster positive workplace dynamics. A lifelong patron of the arts, Maria understands the transformative power of nonprofit organizations and is thrilled to support a cause that resonates deeply with her.

Maria began her career in Central Florida as an opera singer and adjunct professor at Stetson University. She has toured the Eastern United States, performing with various opera companies, including Vero Beach Opera, St. Augustine Opera, and Stetson University’s Opera Theater. As a voice professor, Maria developed a nuanced approach to unlocking potential and quashing self-doubt.

Before joining Campbell & Company, Maria worked as a Project Administrator for Ferrovial Services, where she gained valuable skills in time management and proficiency with various software programs. These skills have been instrumental in her current role.

Maria is passionate about linguistics and the cultures they represent. She speaks seven languages and spends her free time practicing her crafts or reading opera librettos. Maria graduated from Stetson University with a BA in Opera Performance and holds a certification in Chemotherapeutic Pharmacy.

Maria currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with her wife and two cats, Pizza and Panini.
