Manny Berger is a senior partner with Witt/Kieffer’s education and not-for-profit and healthcare practices. Based in the firm’s Boston office, Manny has earned a national reputation for his work in identifying key administrative and academic leaders for some of the country’s finest institutions. Manny specializes in senior-level searches for universities, healthcare institutions, academic medical centers, medical schools, insurance organizations and the not-for-profit sector.
Manny is also known for his proficiency in identifying chief development officers for some of the nation’s most important institutions. Whether at the board table, addressing the senior management team, working with search committees or advising presidents and chancellors, Manny’s experience allows him to offer great value in all aspects of executive search — from building client relationships to research, qualification and final selection of candidates.
Prior to joining Witt/Kieffer, Manny was vice president at Isaacson, Miller, executive search consultants. Previously, he was vice president for human resources at New England Medical Center in Boston, where he managed organizational development, human resources and all senior-level recruitment for a workforce of more than 6,000 employees. Earlier in his career, Manny managed staffing and organizational development at Boston’s Beth Israel Hospital and he directed management and organizational development at ITS, an international health services company.
