Kazuhiko Mori serves as partner in DHR International’s Tokyo office. He brings more than 25 years of business experience at multinational institutions in Japan and the U.S. He offers a broad range of strategic, competitive and talent acquisition solutions through his network in various industries. His areas of expertise include human resources, financial services, operations and technology and management consulting.
Prior to moving to executive search, Mr. Mori was the head of human resources for Citigroup Global Markets Japan (Nikko Citigroup). He joined Salomon Brothers as the manager of information technology for Japan and remained with the company for more than 20 years, including 14 years running the human resources department. During that time, he led the HR team through the merger of Salomon Brothers with Smith Barney, the creation of a joint venture with Nikko Securities and the transformation of the JV to become part of Citigroup. He is experienced in strategic business initiatives, post M&A business integration, executive coaching, change management, succession planning as well as leading functional specialists in all areas of HR, including talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, employee relations, learning & development, global mobility, HRIS and payroll. At Salomon, Mr. Mori held a number of other positions in IT, Operations and Corporate Planning. Prior to joining Salomon, he worked for KPMG in New York as a senior consultant, information technology consulting practice. He started his career at Fujitsu Limited in Tokyo as Systems Engineer, Space and Defense Systems Development Division.
Mr. Mori has a Master of Business Administration in Finance and Marketing from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Columbia University School of Engineering and Applied Science.
