Kan Phongjaroenwit serves as Principal based in the firm’s Tokyo office. Kan brings almost a decade of retained executive search experience where he has partnered with numerous multinational industrial clients in Japan and Asia Pacific including Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive, Machinery & Equipment, Chemical and Process industry.
He also has experience working across a range of practice groups including Life Science, Advanced Technology, and Media & Entertainment. Kan has broad functional expertise in Sales & Marketing, Finance, Technical Operations, General Management and Legal & Compliance.
Prior to assuming the Principal role, Kan was Senior Associate leading end-to-end execution and delivery of leadership recruiting assignments across sectors and functions focusing on bilingual (J/E) talents in Japan. Previously, in 2013, he served as Director, Talent Acquisition, Japan working closely with Japan & APAC leadership team to attract top talents to the firm.
Kan joined DHR International in 2008 as Associate. Kan holds a Master of Arts in International Relations from International University of Japan and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communications from Stamford International University, Thailand. He speaks native Thai, fluent English; business Japanese; and basic Korean.
