As from August 2017 Jorge C Bacher is a partner of Signium Argentina. Jorge had been with PwC since 1972 until he retired in June 2017. He was admitted to the partnership effective July 1989. In his long tenure, he had several roles in consulting and auditing. He was the leader of the Energy and Utilities practice, the Deals group (Transactions, Valuations, M&A), and the Advisory business area for many years. He had other management functions in the firm both at local level and regionally. Since 2014 he is the President of the Argentine Committee of the World Energy Council. He served in its Board for more than 15 years. He is a Public Accountant and Bachelor in Administration from the University of Buenos Aires. He has post graduate degrees from Wharton Business School and other international entities. He served as a Board member for AMCHAM, The American Chamber of Commerce in Argentina, for the last 15 years; The British Chamber of Commerce, the Petroleum Club and other business entities.
