Heidi Rustin has spent fifteen years in executive search, focusing on the luxury, fashion and retail sectors. Prior to launching Bryant Park Search Partners in 2016, Heidi was a Partner in Heidrick & Struggles’ New York office for three years, and a member of the Consumer Markets Practice. Heidi specializes in leading executive-level searches across all functions in the retail industry. She has conducted searches for CEOs, General Managers, Sales leaders, and executives in Merchandising, Marketing, Operations, Design, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Finance and Creative Services.
Prior to joining Heidrick & Struggles, Heidi was a Managing Director at Herbert Mines Associates, where she spent ten years. She began her executive search career with another boutique firm specializing in fashion and retail.
Her portfolio of clients includes large, publicly-traded retailers, high-growth private equity-backed companies, privately held, and emerging, entrepreneurial organizations. Heidi has frequently collaborated with Founders and Private Equity sponsors in transitioning their organizations to integrate professional management.
Before launching her career in executive search, Heidi spent 15 years in publishing and advertising, with a focus on luxury goods and fashion. In her last publishing role, she served as the Fashion and Beauty Manager for Condé Nast’s House & Garden magazine. Heidi also spent 12 years at Art & Auction magazine as Advertising Director and Associate Publisher.
Education: Heidi holds a BFA degree from San Diego State University where she studied Environmental Design and Art History.
