Guy Barnes

Guy brings over 20 years of executive search and assessment experience to his role as managing partner, leader of the global Business & Professional Services practice, and co-leader of the Private Equity practice at Acertitude.

He primarily serves business & professional services and industrial companies, helping them recruit, assess, and retain their leaders and executive teams. In addition, he has extensive experience working with private equity clients, pre-and post-deal, across a broad range of portfolio firms and contexts. Guy is also responsible for the international build-out of Acertitude.

Guy founded, built, and successfully sold a leading specialist executive search firm to a NYSE-listed global competitor before joining Acertitude from Russell Reynolds Associates, where he led the Business & Professional Services practice from London and was a partner on the Industrial and Private Equity teams.

Guy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from the University of Reading.

Prior to executive search, Guy worked in the insurance and motorsport industries. He is also a Non Executive at InMotion Ventures – Jaguar Land Rover’s venture capital and incubator business, investing in high growth companies in the mobility and smart transportation sector.
