Gerlinde Berger serves as a Partner, based at our offices in Munich, Frankfurt and Vienna.
Prior to joining DHR, Gerlinde was a partner with CTPartners NEUMANN. She joined CTPartners in 2014, when the firm merged with Neumann Partners.
With more than 15 years of executive search experience predominantly in the manufacturing industry with particular focus on automotive, machinery and packaging, Gerlinde has in-depth understanding of business dynamics and the executive talent demands within this sector. Her second field of specialization is in the area of consumer/luxury goods & retail. Gerlinde has gained excellent insight into the fastest growing markets when managing the key recruitments for mainly DACH clients all over the globe.
Before joining CTPartners, Gerlinde worked as partner with Neumann & Partners, where she was based in Vienna, Munich and Cologne. For two years, Gerlinde had also been strengthening the Asia Pacific Competence Center based in Cologne, where she mainly worked on search assignments in the APAC region. In addition, Gerlinde brings experience in working for executive search firms in Switzerland, Austria and CEE. For several years, she worked as regional director with full P&L responsibility for a region encompassing six offices in CEE.
Prior to moving into executive search, Gerlinde served four years as a diplomat in the Austrian Diplomatic Service. She was seconded to Luxemburg and Brussels and mainly dealt with EU affairs.
Gerlinde studied at the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Lyon and holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration from the Vienna University of Economics and Business as well as a PhD in Economic Sciences. She is fluent in English, French and German and has a good command of Spanish.
