Head, US Sport & Entertainment Practice

Drew Cloud is a Partner and Head of the US Sports Practice. Drew was previously Head of Global Sport & Entertainment Practice as well as part of the Hospitality and Leisure and Marketing Services practices at RSR Partners. He focuses on recruiting senior leaders and providing human capital advisory services across the global sport ecosystem, serving as a trusted advisor to clients in the sports and entertainment industry.

Drew has experience in leadership positions at various teams across sports leagues – including the NBA, NHL, MLB, and MLS – helping them create and execute strategy around revenue growth as well as the development of strategic partnerships, marketing and sales services, and team/venue operations. He served as Chief Business Officer for Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment and Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for the Pittsburgh Pirates.  He also spent several years at the NBA league office in their distinguished TMBO division as well as with Madison Square Garden, playing a key leadership role in the development of “World’s Most Famous Arena” revenue/marketing strategy and transformation. Earlier in his career, he led the Phoenix Suns’ sales and guest experiences.

Drew is a graduate of Ohio University where he received two degrees, a BSSS in Sports Industry/Business and a MSPE in Athletic Administration. Recently Drew has served as a part-time professor in Sports Management at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
