Managing Partner

Diane Coletti serves as managing partner in DHR’s Boston office. She is a member of the Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business Services, and Advanced Technology practice groups. She is also a member of DHR’s CEO & Board practice group. With more than 25 years of recognized search excellence, Diane’s fervor at understanding a client’s unique business dynamic and market specifics has made her successful in completing global assignments for CEOs, CFOs, Presidents, C level executives, Board Members, and functional VPs.

Diane’s extensive experience also encompasses recruiting leadership within various functional areas, including marketing, product management, IT, investor relations, commercialization, sales, strategic alliances, channel management, business development, corporate development, human resources, professional services, operations, supply chain, regulatory affairs, quality, and finance. Diane has conducted more than 900 searches and interviewed thousands of executives throughout her two decades in executive search. Her focus on accountability and a tenacity to deliver have resulted in an unprecedented referral rate: 100% of Diane’s searches result from referrals or repeat clients.

Diane has advised a plethora of companies regarding company or functional leadership requirements, business-aligned role definition and assessment, and recruited talent globally. Clients include: PerkinElmer, Charles River Laboratories, Covidien, Zimmer, NxStage, Harvard Bioscience, Serica, Allergan, Health Dialog, AdvanSource Biomaterials, Sophos, Avid Technology, Bose, GTECH, Care.com, AMSC, Xtalic, iDirect, Netscout, to name a few.

Diane founded Prestonwood Associates in 1984, which grew to be a recognized executive search leader, defining and identifying leaders for innovative companies in Life Sciences and Technology before being acquired by DHR. As CEO of Prestonwood, Diane brings an innate ability to quickly synthesize clients’ markets, products, and business strategy advising the right talent pursuit the first time. Her perspective has been sought out by many, including the non-profit boards on which she serves. She is currently a Board Trustee with Cape Cod Healthcare (CCHC) and Trustee with the Brain Science Foundation (a supporting organization of the Neurosciences Institute of Partners Healthcare).

Past leadership initiatives have included: tapped by the CEO of The Boston Children’s Museum to be on a strategic task force addressing talent planning needs; Board Trustee leading Marketing Plan development; advisory industry expert for the Center for Innovation Ventures of PARTNERS Healthcare; and past board member for WEST (Women Entrepreneurs in Science and Technology), including mentor to the Founder of organization.

Her interest in education has also led to many leadership positions supporting her local public school system, including a member of the Superintendent’s Advisory Council. Diane holds a Bachelor’s degree from Boston College and is an influential member of the Executive Board of BC’s Technology Council; past Chair of Initiatives Committee for the Council for Women of Boston College (CWBC), and most recently, asked to Chair a Strategic Task Force of CWBC.
