Debby White is a consultant in CarterBaldwin’s non-profit and higher education practice where she focuses on university president, cabinet and officer level executive searches. Prior to search, Debby spent 25 years in higher education in a variety of VP and senior leadership roles. In addition, Debby was director of a Lilly Endowment grant focused on “theological explorations of vocation.” Debby was a key Higher Education Consultant with Gallup where she traveled extensively providing college faculty and staff development, team coaching and individual strengths counseling to students and seminar participants at both public and private institutions.
Debby has been involved with the Leadership Development Institutes for the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities since 1998 and is a published author on the topic of how strengths and giftedness influence success in leadership roles. She currently serves as a member of the Board of Trustees of Roberts Wesleyan College and Northeastern Seminary. Debby earned her Ph.D. in Psychomusicology from the University of Washington and remains a UW Huskies football fan.
