David Madden is a partner at DHR International. He is an active member of the firm’s Advanced Technology and Private Equity industry practices. David is recognized as one of the search industry’s leading technology sales and marketing recruiters, known for his proactivity and tenacity in finding the right candidates to fill his client’s unique position requirements, as well as corporate culture. He is passionate about client service and spends a significant time educating himself about his client’s business, management team, culture and competitive landscape.
At DHR, he partners with Board of Directors, CEO’s and their management teams to improve overall company performance. David’s primary focus is revenue roles (sales, marketing and business development) reporting direct to the CEO, within the enterprise technology/services marketplace, with a specific focus and expertise in software (SaaS through to enterprise), big data and analytics, networking technologies and the Internet of Things (IoT), digital media and payments companies.
His practice is global in nature, having worked closely with founders and venture investors on new business concepts, as well as provided the leadership necessary to attract senior executives to large, multi-national companies.
He has recruited leaders for such organizations as Adaptive Insights, BPC Banking Technologies, Equilar, VerticalScope, AVG, GE Software, HP, Rovi and Mercury Payment Systems, to name a few. Prior to joining DHR International, David was a partner at Lonergan Partners, where he was head of the firm’s Sales and Marketing Practice. Earlier, David was with the Silicon Valley office of CTPartners and was a member of the firm’s Technology, Media and Telecom Practice.
David began his career in Financial Services, working for market leaders Merrill Lynch and UBS. David is an outdoor enthusiast whose hobbies include skiing, tennis, golf, and running. He is a graduate of Tulane University and lives in Los Gatos, CA with his wife and two sons.
