Craig Randall serves as partner and is a key member of DHR’s Private Equity Practice. Serving as a board and CEO-level advisor, Craig helps clients identify and recruit the proper mix of talent required to develop efficient businesses. His consultative methodology centers on working with senior executives to look at all aspects of human capital management.
For over two decades, Craig has led client development, search execution, and senior level assignments for private equity groups, growth businesses, and family offices. Specifically, he has led assignments for CEO, CFO, COO, CIO, division presidents and functional heads of sales, marketing, human resources, and supply chain. Craig loves partnering with Private Equity firms post-acquisition as they execute their value creation plan. Specifically, working with founders and CEOs as they think about growth and how people, process, and systems can accelerate positive outcomes.
He also has developed expertise working with several closely held families as they think about their asset allocation, new investing platforms, direct investing and generational opportunities in their core operating companies.
Prior to joining DHR International, Craig was a Senior Associate at Korn/Ferry International where he executed senior level searches for Private Equity backed clients. Craig received his Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Tulane University where he served as quarterback and captain of the Varsity Football Team. He also attended the University of Michigan and was a member of the 1991 Rose Bowl Team. Craig lives in Winnetka with his wife Alison and their four children.
He is an active member of the Chicago community, supporting numerous organizations, including JDRF, Children’s Home & Aid, and the Field Museum.
