Claude Shaw, based in New York, leads Egon Zehnder’s global Private Equity Practice. In addition, Claude serves as a member of the firm’s Consumer Practice, working with clients in the consumer, retail, and media sectors.

Prior to joining Egon Zehnder, Claude was a Senior Vice President in the Consumer/Retail Investment Banking group at FBR & Co., a full-service investment banking firm. Previously, he was a Vice President with Watch Hill Partners, a merchant banking firm, where he focused on M&A advisory, private capital raising, and equity co-investments for corporate and private equity clients. Earlier, Claude served as Director of Acquisitions, based in Los Angeles, for Helkon Media, where he was responsible for originating and executing financing, production, and distribution opportunities for major motion pictures.

Claude earned a BS from Georgetown and an MBA from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
