Dr. Christina Scott joined Academic Search in May 2019 as an associate consultant and has facilitated searches for academic deans as well as cabinet-level roles in academic affairs and enrollment management for both private and public institutions.
Prior to joining Academic Search, Dr. Scott spent over 20 years in higher education in both faculty and administration. She has taught as an adjunct faculty member in anthropology and sociology at community colleges and at both public and private four-year institutions. In addition, over the last decade, she has specialized in teaching in the asynchronous online environment and has taught at multiple online institutions, including National University, Southern New Hampshire University, and American Public University. Dr. Scott has also held roles in faculty development and research for online teaching and learning at Ashford University. She earned both her B.A. and M.A. in Anthropology from Western Washington University and her Ed.D. in Postsecondary Educational Leadership from San Diego State University.
