Charles Funk brings a lifetime legacy in agriculture to engagements with clients of The ExeQfind Group. From the corn fields of the Midwestern US to the pits at the Chicago Board of Trade, the business of agriculture has been a part of his life from childhood to present.
Prior to joining The ExeQfind Group, Charles was as a Principal at Funks Frontiersmen Seed where he still sits on the company’s Board of Directors. Charles represents the fourth generation of the Funk family’s rich heritage in hybrid seed corn known throughout the corn growing regions of the US Midwest. Charles’s great grandfather, Edward J. Funk was one of America’s earliest pioneers of hybrid seed corn.
Charles has extensive experience managing international agricultural and related commodities projects in Mexico, the United Kingdom, the Czech Republic, Russia and Ukraine. In addition to English, he has working fluency in Spanish and is conversant in Russian.
Charles holds a Master’s of Business Administration from Indiana University and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Purdue University. He has also studied Economics at the Universite Libre de Bruxelles in Brussels, Belgium.
