Managing Partner

Caroline Edwards serves as managing partner at DHR International and is based in the firm’s Hong Kong office. Her focus is on key accounts across the Life Sciences and Consumer Practice Groups.

With extensive experience across the region, Ms. Edwards brings a broad insight to client search partnerships. In addition to successfully completing search assignments regionally and globally, she has successfully completed global succession planning assignments with top emerging companies.

Prior to joining DHR International, Ms. Edwards’ professional career was in human resources, serving in various roles at the time HSBC was building and consolidation a global presence. Her first role in the organization was to establish and develop an internal talent acquisition function, to build a strong talent pipeline to keep pace with business growth. Key responsibilities included the retention and development of top performers and managing human capital in the areas of succession planning, leadership assessment, career development and providing workforce solutions in a competitive employment environment.

Ms. Edwards joined DHR International in 2005, shortly after the company was established in the region focusing on the recruitment of senior leadership teams with well-established and startup companies in the life sciences and healthcare industry, as well as consumer. She has delivered top executive talent to search clients and with her consultative approach and extensive HR background, has assisted clients in building successful teams which deliver results or innovation and change in support functions. Ms. Edwards has helped place executives in functional leadership & general management positions for C-level as well as senior management roles in public, private, MNC and private equity backed firms.

Currently residing in Hong Kong, Ms. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Wales and is also a registered and accredited practitioner in the use of a wide variety of psychometric and people assessment tools, in the areas of hiring, succession planning, psychometric assessment and competency framework development.
