Bruce Marro

After leading talent acquisition for True and Foundation Talent, Bruce now focuses on human resources and talent leadership functions in the extremely dynamic and competitive ecosystem of emerging technology. Earlier in his career, Bruce was a member of IronHill Partners, the boutique retained search firm focused on VC/PE-backed portfolio companies (acquired by Heidrick & Struggles). He then spent the next three years in Heidrick’s Global Technology Practice working across C-suite functions. Bruce was also a principal for Allegis Group helping scale its executive retained search business (Allegis Partners) and later served as the lead executive recruiter for Hewlett-Packard’s COO and Chief Strategy Officer.

Throughout his career he has been instrumental in closing executive searches for VC/PE-backed and Fortune 100 technology companies. The common thread to his professional background in sales, fundraising, and recruiting has been building relationships in a way where the client and candidate’s interests are valued and respected. He has found success throughout his career by adhering to the credo of “treating others as you would like to be treated.”

Bruce graduated from Saint Joseph’s University with a BA in Politics. He lives outside of New York City, in Westfield, New Jersey, where he is currently enjoying back-to-back years as Husband, Father, Friend, and Coach of the Year.
