Bruce Colligan is a Senior Partner at WB&B Executive Search and Head of its Healthcare Practice. Prior to joining the firm, Bruce had been a long-term client of WB&B.
Bruce’s background as a Human Resources Executive spans organizations with multi-billion dollar budgets including AT&T, BASF, Global Crossing and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH). He is known in the industry as an outstanding leader and business partner who has received multiple awards for exemplary performance and obtained outstanding results from his business teams through good judgment and persistence.
Known for his strategic focus, Bruce has an uncanny ability to enhance business success by pioneering change through innovative models coupled with his ability to build bridges and relationships. Bruce’s core competencies are his ability to assess and diagnose workplace engagement, build the appropriate solutions to drive organizational performance, end to end talent management, risk management and compliance as well as expense savings, M&A integration and labor management. Most recently, Bruce reduced turnover at RWJUH by 40% and saved $1M per year through vendor negotiations. Through these efforts RWJUH was awarded the NJBIA Outstanding Employer Award.
Bruce holds a BS degree in Management and Labor Studies from SUNY-Empire State, with ongoing professional coursework in Executive Leadership at Oxford University, Advanced Management at Rutgers, Management Science at Stevens Institute of Technology and Labor Relations at Cornell. He is an active member of the NJ HR Planning Group, Founder and past Board member of the Central Jersey YMCA Boys’ Swim Team, and organizer of an annual fund-raising golf tournament that supports Haiti’s needy children to the tune of $180K annually.
