Since entering the Search industry in 2002, Brooke has built a reputation for her expertise in recruiting sought-after Finance and Accounting talent. Having started her career in Big 4 Public Accounting, she applies her specialized skills by conducting in-depth conversations with clients to truly understand their needs and requirements. From there, she takes a deep dive with potential candidates regarding their previous work history, accomplishments, and soft skills to make the best match for her clients.

Prior to joining StevenDouglas, Brooke acted as the Director of Recruiting for a boutique recruiting firm. In that role, she was responsible for sourcing, recruiting, interviewing, and placing accounting and finance professionals. Brooke was consistently one of the top producers in her previous firm, which she attributes to a combination of her specialization, work ethic, and staying true to her values to ensure continued success. She is known as a full-service provider to both companies and candidates, consistently listening to client and candidate needs and motivations. Brooke focuses on being effective, while providing efficiency by asking good questions, being responsive to needs, always showcasing respect, providing honest feedback, and keeping the lines of communication open.

Brooke graduated from James Madison University, with a Major in Accounting and a Minor in Sociology. She actively volunteers and support her children’s schools, and also acts as the Past President and Professional Networking Chair for the James Madison University Alumni Association; and is the Charlotte Arthritis Walk Team Recruitment Chairperson for the Arthritis Foundation.
