Focused on recruiting senior technology executives (CIO, CTO, CISO, CDO, VP Engineering), Bill Hogenauer has placed leaders in C-level roles within a wide range of businesses such as manufacturing, distribution, cybersecurity, corporate wellness, infrastructure software, enterprise SaaS and not-for-profit.

Bill understands what it takes to lead a team and the organization through the most exciting and the most difficult of times, regardless of whether it’s due to rapid growth or other major transition.  After helping grow a small business and launching three others early in his career, Bill spent 5 years managing a technical consulting practice in medical devices and technology, and then 4 years in large manufacturing for the aerospace/defense, power generation and industrial markets.

A seasoned leader who has managed on-site and remote teams, Bill’s roles have included engineering management, business development, and corporate leadership with businesses that sell both products and services. With more than two decades of business development and leadership experience in multiple technical markets, he has helped build start-ups and small businesses in areas ranging from engineering & manufacturing to complex algorithms embedded in medical software.

Bill grew up on Long Island and graduated from Lehigh University with a degree in Materials Science Engineering. He lives with his wife of 18 years and three awesome children in Bucks County, PA. When not deeply engaged with a candidate, client, or co-worker, Bill enjoys time with his family, cycling, adventure sports, travel, golf and proving (over and over again) that you don’t have to spend more than $20 to find a truly great bottle of wine.
