Becky Stein

Head of Consumer Practice

Becky joined SPMB in 2015 and leads the firm’s Consumer Practice. She works with some of the nation’s most innovative growth companies as well as Fortune 500 companies, advising them on their talent strategies and Board composition. Becky’s diverse client base includes lululemon, Impossible Foods, Domino’s, Viking Cruises, Aritzia, Grove Collaborative, and IPSY. Working exclusively at the C-Suite level, she is known for her efforts to shine a spotlight on underrepresented minorities — 65% of Becky’s placements have been diversity candidates over the past three years.

Before joining SPMB, Becky was a Senior Client Partner at Korn Ferry where she co-founded the Digital Practice and was a member of the Consumer Sector’s Global Leadership Team. Prior to that, she worked for Russell Reynolds Associates and was the Managing Director of the America’s Consumer Sector.

Becky is an endurance athlete who has completed multiple Ironmans, the famous Quad Dipsea, and three 170 mile, multi-day self supported RacingThePlanet events in the Gobi Desert, Atacama Desert and Sri Lanka. In 2018, she completed the Zion 100k outside of Zion National Park and the 24-Hour Summer Solstice run in San Francisco. In 2019, Becky completed the Burning Man 50k, and in 2020 she ran the New York Marathon – virtually!
