Beatriz García Soler is a Senior Partner at N2Growth Iberia. She is experienced in international banking and corporate finance with expertise in Mergers & Acquisitions and strategic business development. As a result, she brings unmatched, hands-on experience when it comes to understanding the full spectrum of your talent-related needs and in sourcing and attracting the best professionals to oversee your investments and drive performance.
She co-leads N2Ventures, focusing on Private Equity firms that require an agile pipeline of leadership talent and Financial Services and Business and Professional Services. Before joining N2 Iberia, Beatriz has worked as an Investment Banker, Business Development Consultant, and Start-up Advisor in the Bank of England, UBS, Lehman Brothers, GLG Hedge Fund, and Santander, and lived in the USA, UK, Switzerland, and France.
As Vice-president and Business Manager to the Global Head of Corporate Finance at Santander, Beatriz was in charge of M&A origination, liaising with Santander Private Banking and Banif. She supported Senior Management in coverage of key client relationships worldwide and performed and presented industry analysis assessing strategic, operational, and financial risks of potential transactions and alternative investments. She designed and wrote an M&A/ECM/DCM catalog for training purposes as well as assisted the Global Head in the development/implementation of new corporate strategies including, pipeline management, budgeting, hiring and building up the Latin-American teams, developing new presentation templates for clients, developing an internal Newsletter and a new advertising campaign.
At GLG Hedge Fund, Beatriz was in charge of marketing a comprehensive range of alternative, traditional long-only, and hybrid funds; advising a broad range of clients including public sector entities, foundations, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and high net worth individuals on hedge fund strategies in Spain and Portugal. At UBS Corporate Finance/Mergers & Acquisitions Department, she advised European Corporations to prepare and present investment proposals and acquisition ideas to board members and corporate executives. She also executed a variety of M&A and financing transactions, including Aceralia, privatization, and IPO of the Spanish Steel and Iron Industry. Her role included detailed company valuation, due diligence, and negotiations with management and SEPI, the State-owned privatization agency. IPO of Coca-Cola Beverages, a highly successful transaction involving a cross-border merger, multiple international acquisitions, and divestiture of a major strategic shareholder. Her role involved valuation, prospectus preparation, management of conflicting stakeholders’ interests, and coordination of external advisors. She also coached incoming employees and summer interns.
She holds an MBA, specializing in Finance by Instituto de Empresa, a Law degree from Universidad Complutense/CEU, and a Masters degree in Journalism by El Mundo. She is bilingual in Spanish and English.
