Ann C Wheeler

Ann C. Wheeler is a Principal in Odgers Berndtson’s Leadership Advisory practice area. Her work focuses on assessments for executive selection and/or development, as well as executive coaching, succession planning, executive integration, senior team development, and implementation of organizational change.

Ann has spent over 20 years working with executives and senior managers across national and multinational organizations. She has deep experience working with major manufacturing clients, including Department of Defense contractors, aerospace manufacturers, chemical manufacturers, and other highly regulated and specialized industries. She has also worked extensively with energy companies, public utilities and power generators, particularly nuclear and fossil generation facilities.

Ann has devoted her career to psychological assessments and evaluations for individuals, teams, and organizations. She was previously on the Psychology Resident Training Committee for the University of Texas Medical School in the Department of Psychiatry, teaching courses in psychological assessment and evaluation. She later moved to private practice, providing individual, family and group counseling, and individual evaluations.

Ann received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University, followed by her Master’s and Ph.D. from the University of North Texas in Counseling Psychology. Her clinical training was completed at the University of Texas Medical School in Houston. Ann is a fellow with the Institute of Coaching, McLean/Harvard Medical School.
