Andy Cornwell serves as partner in the firm’s St. Louis, MO office. Andy approaches executive search from a comprehensive career background in management consulting across a number of industries. In addition, he is an active member of several DHR International practice groups such as Advanced Technology, Diversity, Industrial, Life Sciences, Private Equity and Professional Services.
Throughout Andy’s 33-year career, he has consulted with numerous companies across the United States of all sizes from a variety of industries on issues and initiatives spanning most functional areas of the global business enterprise.
Clients value his strong listening and communication skills, his ability to positively impact their business operations through his management consulting and business advisory background, and the comprehensive network, resources and methodologies he can orchestrate to find and assess world-class executive talent.
He has recruited executives at most levels and functions, and his clients are thoroughly satisfied with the attention to detail and personal care he brings to their business requirements. Prior to joining DHR, Andy served in a variety of senior management positions with IBM, Ernst & Young, and Deloitte & Touche, as well as co-founder and managing partner of an innovative start-up distribution business. He has a unique combination of experiences in strategy, people, process and organizational transformation, as well as technology enablement and integration.
He also has a proven track record in solution development and professional services benefiting businesses trying to grow, innovate, identify and penetrate new markets, transform, cut costs, or improve productivity and competitiveness. Andy holds a BA in Engineering Sciences from Dartmouth College.
