Amy Crutchfield joined Witt/Kieffer in 2005 and has participated in over 200 successful search assignments for presidents, provosts, deans and leaders in other administrative units such as advancement, enrollment management, finance and student affairs. She is deputy director of the firm’s Education Practice and supports engagements for national research universities, comprehensive and liberal arts colleges. During her tenure, she has developed a deep understanding of the search process within higher education. She skillfully supports the complete range of executive search services, including identifying and interviewing top candidates and assuring effective communication with both clients and candidates throughout every successful search process. Candidates and clients appreciate her keen eye for detail, personal approach and steady counsel in guiding them through the entire search process.
In recognition of her exceptional service to both candidates and clients, Amy received Witt/Kieffer’s Quality Award in 2015. As leader of Witt/Kieffer’s Enrollment Practice, a division of the Education Practice, Amy has great depth of understanding of the field and recognizes the critical need for strong enrollment leadership in the current higher education landscape. Amy has a robust network of candidates and is known to enrollment leaders nationally. Amy is especially interested in and committed to identifying future leaders in higher education and has participated in panels on the subject. Recognizing the significant need to support women’s leadership in enrollment management, she annually convenes discussion groups aimed at shaping conversations around this topic and encouraging and mentoring the next generation of women enrollment leaders.
