Alison leads the Gerard Daniels global business and has thirteen years’ experience in executive and board search. She was previously Chief Executive Officer of a law society after a distinguished career as a public servant responsible for the whole of government workforce planning and management development services.
Alison’s practice is focussed on Chair and independent Non-Executive Director search, CEO search and board and executive assessments. She works across all industries and structures, including listed companies, private companies, government, cooperatives and mutuals, not for profits and charities and philanthropic organisations, indigenous businesses, higher education, arts and sport.
Alison is an active non-executive director and is a member of the AESC APAC & Middle East Council and Chair of its regional Nominations and Governance Committee and member of the global committee; Deputy President of the INSEAD Director Network; Governor of the College of Law Ltd; and President of the Australian Institute of Management WA. She is an active member of the 30% Club, committed to board diversity.
She holds the degrees of B.Arts and B.Laws from the University of Western Australia, Master of Arts (Public Policy) Murdoch University, Grad Dip in Legal Practice Australian National University and Graduate Certificate in International Corporate Governance from INSEAD. She was awarded an honorary doctorate of the University by Murdoch University for services to the University and the community and the Distinguished Alumni Award.
