Plymouth Search Partners Appoints Managing Director In Boston

June 21, 2016 – Plymouth Search Partners – Signium has named Mike Steyer as its new managing director in Boston.
Mr. Steyer was previously principal and owner of LEV Recruiting. Before that, he worked for Mediatum US in Boston as managing director where he established the office, corporate infrastructure and had full P&L responsibility. During this time there, he hired and trained search teams, won several search assignments and engaged in full cycle business execution.
“Mike’s addition to the Signium USA family provides additional deep strength to our overall life sciences expertise,” said Glenn Anderson, Americas director, Signium. “With Uli Mueller in Colorado, Signium is well positioned to serve life science business clients with their executive search and leadership consulting needs in North America. We are excited to have him on board.”
Prior to executive search, Mr. Steyer worked as a life science management consultant for Capgemini (New York City), and Putnam Associates (Boston), as well as an independent contractor for several boutique-consulting firms. He specialized in post-merger integration projects as well as in the optimization of marketing and sales strategies for products in all phases (development through patent expiration). His clients were major pharmaceutical, biotech and medical device companies on the East and West Coasts. He started his international life science career at Bayer’s Pharmaceutical headquarters in Germany.
Plymouth Search Partners provides executive recruiting services to a wide variety of clients, including small, mid-sized and large corporations, family owned and private equity-backed enterprises as well as several in the non-profit sector. For global, cross-border recruiting assignments, the firm relies on its consortium partners in Signium International, which currently has 47 offices in 27 countries.
Just recently, Plymouth Search Partners added Mr. Mueller in its Fort Collins, CO and New York City offices. As managing director for the firm’s Colorado practice, Mr. Mueller’s focus areas for his executive search practice are in the life sciences, pharmaceutical, technology and industrial sectors as well as human resources. He joined the firm from Danaher Corporation where he served in a variety of senior level human resources roles, including vice president of learning and organizational development and VP of global HR of subsidiary Hach Company.
Earlier this year, Plymouth Search Partners added Mark S. Fogel as managing director in its New York City office. He brought a suite of human resources consulting, coaching and assessment services to his search practice which is focused on manufacturing, financial services, retail, and the education sectors.
