PATRICK ALLEN, HEAD OF EXECUTIVE STAFFING – CERBERUS OPERATIONS & ADVISORY COMPANY

Patrick is the recruiting practice leader for Cerberus Operations and Advisory Company (COAC). He is responsible for executive recruitment for COAC and Cerberus portfolio company C-suite, board, and advisory positions.

Patrick Allen is a seasoned talent acquisition professional with over 20 years of recruiting experience fostering talent identification for large scale, complex organizations. A consultative partner known for identifying executive talent, building teams, and implementing cost effective innovative staffing solutions.

KENNA BAUDIN, HEAD OF U.S. PRIVATE EQUITY – EGON ZEHNDER

Based in New York, Kenna Wyllie Baudin leads Egon Zehnder’s private equity practice in the U.S. She focuses on senior-level executives at private equity funds (partners/managing directors, principals, heads of IR/fundraising, etc.) and in PE-backed portfolio companies. Kenna also has a particular specialization in chief financial officers and is active in the firm’s diversity and inclusion council and in its consumer and media, entertainment & sports practices.

Before joining Egon Zehnder, Kenna served as head of private equity at J. Safra Asset Management. Before that, she served as director of 3i Plc, an international investment firm. Earlier, Kenna was a principal at Solera Capital. She began her career as a consultant with the Boston Consulting Group.

TED BILILIES, MANAGING DIRECTOR & CHIEF TALENT OFFICER – ALIXPARTNERS

Ted Bililies Ph.D. is managing director at AlixPartners and leads the firm’s transformative leadership practice, where he also serves as the organization’s first chief talent officer. AlixPartners is a 40-year old global business advisory firm with 24 offices worldwide.

Ted has been a trusted advisor and master performance coach to hundreds of CEOs, investors and senior executives for more than 30 years. MERCEDES CHATFIELD-TAYLOR, VENTURE CAPITAL & PRIVATE EQUITY LEAD – CALDWELL

Mercedes Chatfield-Taylor is managing partner of Caldwell’s private equity and venture capital practice areas and a member of the firm’s technology, consumer, digital and media teams. She focuses on executive-level search for high-growth technology companies, with deep expertise in B2B SaaS, social, eCommerce, gaming and other transformative technologies. Mercedes has completed over 50 CEO searches as well as other CXO level assignments for her clients. She has deep expertise in helping to diversify VC & PE-backed company boards and leadership teams.

Prior to joining Caldwell, Mercedes held leadership positions at executive search firms including Heidrick & Struggles, where she helped re-establish and then managed its global venture capital practice; Highland Partners; and iCOM Consultants, an emerging technologies boutique she co-founded to address the unique hiring needs of venture-backed technology companies. Before founding iCOM, Mercedes was vice president of VF&Co, a Silicon Valley-based HR consulting firm where she established and managed its executive search practice. Prior to that, she was vice president of marketing for XL Insurance, a global excess insurance, reinsurance and financial risk-management company, with holdings of over $13 billion. Mercedes managed XL’s marketing efforts at their head office in Bermuda before moving to Sydney, Australia to open the company’s first office in the Pacific Rim and lead the firm’s efforts to impact the difficult Asian/Pacific insurance and financial risk management industry.

GEORGE L. DAVIS JR, MANAGING PARTNER – DAVIS PARTNERS

George L. Davis Jr. is the founder & managing partner of Davis Partners, an advisory firm specializing in board & CEO evaluation, succession planning, strategy implementation as well as management effectiveness & assessment. Clients include the global Fortune 500 as well as private equity portfolio companies, venture-backed organizations and family held businesses.

Previously, George was a managing partner and executive committee member of Egon Zehnder. During his 20 year tenure, he led the firm’s global CEO and board practices as well as its U.S. and Boston offices.

For more than two decades, he has been a trusted advisor to multinational, public sector, and private-equity backed organizations seeking guidance on critical boardroom and management issues including search, succession planning, and operational effectiveness. Having helped select more than 500 CEO and board directors across a range of industries, George is an established expert and is a frequent contributor to The Wall Street Journal, Harvard Business Review, Fortune, Business Week, CNBC, Fox Business, Bloomberg TV and other leading media outlets covering board innovation, management leadership succession , as well as digital transformation.

George most recently led talent operations at MacAndrews & Forbes, a company with interests in a diversified portfolio of public and private companies. These talent and human capital strategies ran across MacAndrews & Forbes’ entire portfolio as well as its holding companies.

LIZ DOMINICK, MANAGING DIRECTOR – AKOYA CAPITAL PARTNERS

Liz Dominick joined Akoya Capital in 2005 and leads the company’s talent management function.

Bringing more than 20 years of experience to her role, Liz is an expert at executive talent identification and assessment. She has focused her work on assessing and placing CEOs, board directors, and other senior-level executives within numerous high-growth, investor backed companies and Fortune 2000 organizations.

Prior to joining Akoya, Liz was a vice president with the Carlyle Group where she was a leader in the firm’s technology, corporate and professional services practices. She was also a vice president with A.T. Kearney within their management consulting and executive search practices and also a director with Wujcik & Associates, a Chicago-based boutique executive search firm.

LOUIS ECCLESTON, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER – TMX GROUP LTD.

Lou Eccleston is chief executive officer of TMX Group Limited. He joined TMX in 2014. Lou is a member of the TMX Group board of directors and a member of the board of directors of several TMX Group subsidiaries, including TSX Inc., TSX Venture Exchange Inc., and Montreal Exchange. He has more than 30 years of extensive experience gained in senior leadership roles in the information services, financial technology and capital market services sectors.

Prior to joining TMX Group, Lou was president of S&P Capital IQ and chairman of the board of S&P Dow Jones Indices, which are business lines of McGraw Hill Financial. He was with that organization for six years. While there, he was named to the Institutional Investor “Tech 50” in 2012, 2013 and 2014.

Previously, Lou was at Thomson Financial for four years in the roles of president of global sales, marketing & services and president of the banking and brokerage group. He was at Bloomberg LP for 14 years, where he held a number of roles including chief executive of Bloomberg Tradebook for six years. He also served as chairman and CEO of Pivot Inc., a capital market software services company.

J.P. FLAUM, CEO & FOUNDER – GREEN PEAK

J.P. Flaum is the CEO and founder of Green Peak (GP), a management consulting firm. GP aligns with private equity firms and their portfolio companies to drive increased returns by amplifying hiring, leadership, and organizational effectiveness. In his CEO role, J.P. devotes expertise and passion to coaching CEOs facing critical leadership and human capital challenges. His high-trust, bottom-line style earns high marks from demanding PE and corporate clients alike. CHRIS GAGNON, SENIOR PARTNER / HEAD OF ORGSOLUTIONS GROUP – MCKINSEY & COMPANY

Chris Gagnon is a senior partner at Mckinsey & Company. He co-leads the Organization Practice globally and is head of McKinsey’s OrgSolutions Group, helping clients organize in an integrated way by applying analytics methodologies and tools to improve culture, talent, change management, agility, and leadership.

As global co-leader of the Organization Practice, Chris is passionate about helping clients accomplish sustained organizational health. He believes that by focusing on three essentials, organizations can move quickly to address new challenges and opportunities and therefore thrive in a fast-changing world. First, organizations need to integrate their culture, talent-design, change management, enterprise-wide agility, and leadership initiatives. Second, they can harness analytics methodologies and tools to remove instinct and personal bias from decisions. ALAN GUARINO, VICE CHAIRMAN – KORN FERRY

Alan Guarino brings a unique perspective to Korn Ferry as a former chief executive officer and experienced consultant, working with corporate boards and executive teams to drive business and talent management strategies.

Currently, Alan leads major consulting initiatives for Korn Ferry across industries, with deep expertise in global financial markets, where he is responsible for ensuring that the firm’s largest client relationships have access to the full range of the Korn Ferry’s human capital solutions. In that context, he launched the firm’s Execution Accelerator initiative, helping business leaders better execute their strategies. He also leads senior executive search and C-suite succession assignments for Fortune 500 companies, as well as cutting-edge FinTech companies within capital markets.

HEATHER HAMMOND, CO-LEAD GLOBAL MARKETS PRACTICE – RUSSELL REYNOLDS ASSOCIATES

Heather Hammond serves as the area manager for the firm’s New York and Stamford offices. She co-leads the global banking and markets practice and conducts a broad range of senior-level searches across the financial services industry. She is also a member of the private equity practice where she has completed searches for funds and their portfolio companies, including investment leaders, senior fundraising professionals, capital markets professionals, operating partners and advisors. Heather has fourteen years of executive search, assessment and advisory experience. During this time, she has worked on assignments across a range of senior executive roles within global banking and private equity. Heather is also a member of the firm’s global executive committee.

Prior to joining Russell Reynolds Associates, Heather spent her career at Morgan Stanley in corporate finance, debt capital markets and in equity research on the global automotive team, ranked the number-one automotive equity research Team by Institutional Investor magazine. She also worked in the global capital markets group at Goldman Sachs.

SUSAN LEVINE, MANAGING DIRECTOR/HEAD OF TALENT DEVELOPMENT – BAIN CAPTIAL

Susan Levine joined Bain Capital in 2006. She is a managing director and head of North America private equity HR & talent development. Internally, Ms. Levine is responsible for the firm’s North America private equity team’s investment and portfolio operations professionals. Her primary responsibilities include leadership and professional development for deal and portfolio executives, recruiting, mentorship programs, resource allocation, and culture and connectivity programs for NA private equity business. Externally, she is responsible for talent initiatives at the firm’s portfolio companies, including hiring C-level executives, as well as leading assessment activity at the individual, team and organizational level within those portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Bain Capital, Ms. Levine worked at Bain & Company for eight years on the consulting side serving clients in the financial services, consumer products and industrials areas. Prior to Bain & Company, Ms. Levine also served as director of North America marketing and client development. Previously, she worked in the global consulting practice of Barents Group, advising clients in M&A activity in emerging markets.

BOB LLAMAS, OPERATING PARTNER PORTFOLIO OPERATIONS – BLACKSTONE

Bob Llamas is an operating partner with primary responsibilities to assist Blackstone’s portfolio companies with leadership and organization effectiveness, senior executive staffing, talent management, and human resources practices.

Before joining Blackstone in 2016, Mr. Llamas was executive vice president of human resources and community empowerment at Univision Communications Inc. Prior to Univision, he was the chief human resources and public affairs officer for the Nielsen Company. In addition, he has also served as chief administrative officer of The Cleveland Clinic, chief human resources officer of Lehman Brothers Inc., and was a corporate officer of General Electric where he headed up human resources for three of their largest businesses.

MINDY MACKENZIE, MANAGING DIRECTOR & CHIEF PERFORMANCE OFFICER – THE CARLYLE GROUP

Mindy Mackenzie is managing director for the U.S. buyout fund of The Carlyle Group specializing in maximizing organizational, operational and leadership effectiveness through leveraging expertise in change management, strategy, culture and engagement – and the interplay of those four elements in driving performance. She is based in New York.

Prior to joining Carlyle, Mindy was founder and principal of her own firm focused on advising CEOs and their teams on how to unlock and accelerate performance. In addition to serving as senior advisor at McKinsey & Company, she served as global head of strategy, M&A and human resources at liquor giant Jim Beam, and earlier in her career lived and worked internationally for Campbell Soup Company and Walmart Stores, Inc. in senior human capital leadership roles.

JOHN MARSHALL, CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER – JM SEARCH

John Marshall founded JM Search in 1980 and has been helping companies build exceptional management teams for over 35 years. Under John’s leadership, JM Search has grown to become one of the 20 largest retained search firms in North America and one of the premier firms dedicated to serving private equity and venture capital investors and their portfolio companies.

DAVID SAMBUR, SENIOR PARTNER – APOLLO GLOBAL MANAGEMENT

David Sambur is a senior partner at Apollo Private Equity having joined in 2004. Prior to that time, David was a member of the investment banking division of Salomon Smith Barney Inc. He serves on the board of directors of AGS Capital LLC, Caesars Entertainment Corporation, CareerBuilder, Coinstar LLC, ClubCorp, Diamond Resorts International Inc., Rackspace Inc., EcoATM, LLC and Redbox Automated Retail LLC. David previously served on the boards of directors of Hexion Holdings, LLC, Momentive Performance Materials, Inc. and Verso Paper Corporation. He is also a member of the Mount Sinai Department of Medicine Advisory Board.

GLENN STEVENS, PARTNER TALENT MANAGEMENT – APOLLO GLOBAL MANAGEMENT

Glenn Stevens joined Apollo in 2018 in private equity and is responsible for talent management within the organization’s portfolio companies. Prior to joining Apollo, Glenn was the head of talent management for L Catterton since 2013. Prior to that, he was a partner with global executive search firm Odgers Berndtson.
