Founded in 2000, Willis Consulting is a boutique financial service recruiting firm headquarters in Los Angeles with offices in Scottsdale, AZ. Having a national footprint, and the firm’s clients include major brokerage firms, banks, regional broker dealers, independents, asset managers’ and RIAs. The Willis team recruits financial advisors and senior managers. Additionally, they support M&A activity in the space.

CEO Bill Willis and Managing Director Patrick Kelly lead a team of fourteen experienced senior recruiters. Both gentlemen previously have had significant roles and experience in the financial service industry. This experience combined with their collective thirty-eight years of service at the firm, uniquely position this leadership team.

  • During the past 12 months Willis Consulting has assisted a major US based Wealth Management client firm with the successful recruiting and placement of over 60 industry “rising star” experienced financial advisors.
  • Willis Consulting successfully recruited and ultimately placed an elite private wealth management team with a Major US Wealth Management client firm. The elite team manages roughly 2 billion in client AUM and produces over 15 million in annual revenue.
  • Willis Consulting recruited and placed a SVP Regional Manager for a major us based wealth management client firm. The SVP RM oversees 500 employees of which 350 are financial advisors.
  • Willis Consulting has been retained by a Regional Bank to develop strategy and grow their RIA offering. The search is ongoing and national in scope.
  • Willis Consulting is assisting a West Coast RIA seeking to acquire other RIAs and “breakaways” to build a national footprint. Willis serves as both adviser and recruiter in the endeavor.

Surge in Jobless Claims Continues

Americans displaced by the coronavirus crisis again filed for unemployment benefits in historic numbers within the last seven days, with the Labor Department reporting this morning another surge of 2.98 million claims. More than 36.5 million people have now filed for unemployment benefits over the past two months, representing the biggest loss in U.S. history.
