Acertitude Names Managing Partner

May 7, 2021 – Recruiters in the search industry continue to climb the ladder within their respective firms. Just recently, executive search firm Acertitude appointed Nate DaPore as managing partner. “During the past few years, Nate has played a meaningful role in the success and growth of Acertitude — of particular note, standing up and leading a high-performing healthcare and life sciences practice that is making a mark on the healthcare-focused private equity community,” said Rick DeRose, co-founder and managing partner. “The team’s focus on results and creative, problem-solving prove to be a potent combination in delivering brilliant people at work who transform portfolio companies — and contribute to creating a healthier world.”

Mr. DaPore established the firm’s healthcare and life sciences practice when he joined Acertitude in 2017 and has since grown it by double digits each year, achieving 35 percent year-over-year growth in 2020. Under his leadership, the team is already at work serving clients in the sector. The team has delivered on more than 100 senior executive searches across some of the hottest, fastest-growing segments of the industry such as healthcare SaaS, life science, medical device and healthcare platform rollups.

Mr. DaPore has also been instrumental in building relationships with leading private equity firms investing in healthcare, who today make up a large portion of the practice’s growing client base. Mr. DaPore leads executive searches for boards of directors, CEOs, C-suite leaders and their direct reports in the technology, healthcare and private equity markets. He has over 20 years of experience as a private equity investor and operating partner, a software expert and entrepreneur, having founded two successful start-ups. He previously spent seven years as founder and CEO of PeopleMatter, a venture-backed workforce management SaaS company.

“It has been, and continues to be, a wonderful journey working here at Acertitude,” Mr. DaPore said. “Most of all, it gives me great pride to work alongside such a dedicated team of professionals, each of whom are committed to helping the incredible businesses we get to be a part of everyday achieve their aspirations for transformational change and growth.”

“Given the massive shifts in the healthcare and life sciences industries, intensified by the COVID-19 pandemic, we see many opportunities ahead to help our private equity and portfolio company clients find those extraordinary executives who are ready to meet these challenges and build an even brighter future,” he said.
