WinterWyman Executive Search Places Steve Habermas as Vice President of Engineering at S2 Security

NEW YORK, January 16, 2017 — WinterWyman Executive Search has placed Steve Habermas as Vice President of Engineering at S2 Security, a leader in IP-based integrated security systems. WinterWyman Executive Search’s President Steve Kasmouski led the search.

As VP of Engineering, Habermas will lead S2’s 30-person, multi-million dollar software product development effort and implement appropriate processes, tools and resource allocation to scale productivity. He will also oversee new software delivery, technology talent acquisition, development and administration, budgets and product management and qualification.

Prior to joining S2, Habermas was the CTO and Co-founder of VeriLync Capital Solutions, an alternate lending solutions company for businesses and commercial property owners. Previously, he served as the SVP of Engineering for Aptus Health, the VP of Product Development for Verivo Software, the VP of Engineering for Axeda and the VP of Technology for Tele Atlas. A former Submarine Officer with the United States Navy, Habermas has his MBA from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master’s from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
