TRANSEARCH Opens Office in Bulgaria

June 13, 2017 – TRANSEARCH International is continuing its expansion with the opening of an office in Sofia, Bulgaria. Krasen Vladimirov will lead the new office as managing partner of TRANSEARCH Bulgaria.

Mr. Vladimirov has more than 15 years of experience in human resources and operational executive leadership positions and focuses on technology, professional and financial services. He has previously worked as a senior consultant for Stanton Chase International. Prior to moving to executive search, Mr. Vladimirov held a number of senior operations and HR management roles with international exposure. Working for leading global and regional companies in industry, telecommunications and professional services, he gained experience in various industries, corporate cultures, management styles, and learned top management practices. His HR career includes leadership roles at Enhance, Siemens, Telelink and GfK. Mr. Vladimirov is fluent in both Bulgarian and English.

Bulgaria has an emerging market economy in the upper middle-income range, where the private sector accounts for more than 80 percent of GDP. Its labor force is comprised of 2.45 million people, seven percent of whom are employed in agriculture, 35 percent in industry and 58 percent in the services sector. Tourism is the biggest contributor to its economic growth.

TRANSEARCH is a global search firm with representation in all of the major economic capitals with about 60 offices in over 35 countries. It was founded in 1982 and today completes more than 1,500 senior executive search assignments a year. Continued Expansion

Since the start of the year, TRANSEARCH has been expanding in other regions around the globe.

In May, it added Dilek Gümüslü and Patrizia Fontana as partners in Istanbul, Turkey, and Milan, respectively. Ms. Gümüslü has led assignments mainly in financial services, retail, FMCG, automotive, telecommunications, and industrial goods from mid-level manager to senior C-suite executives. She previously served as a senior consultant with Odgers Berndtson. Ms. Fontana has 15 years of executive search experience. She has a strong focus on the fashion and luxury sector. Most recently, she served as a partner with Carter & Benson Executive Search, where she led its consumer goods, retail, luxury and communication services practices and was cross market leader for marketing, trade marketing and sales.

In March, the firm opened two offices in Brazil, in Sao Paulo and Curitiba. Ricardo Du Pain, who heads the Sao Paulo operation, has spent 15 years in professional services and specializes in the pharmaceutical, consumer goods and high-tech industries. Andre Caldeira, who leads the Curitiba office, has an executive career of more than 20 years. His focus is on technology, communications, education, automotive and retail.

In February, TRANSEARCH added an office in Paris headed by Anne Chevillotte, who has over 15 years of experience in executive search. Ms. Chevillotte specializes in manufacturing and business-to-business services. She covers searches in manufacturing (packaging, food, chemical, automotive, engineering, medical device) and leisure / travelling. She has worked for TRANSEARCH for the past 15 years.

TRANSEARCH also strengthened its presence in Dubai with the additions of Philip de Waal and Peter Greaves as partners. Mr. de Waal has developed a track record in senior level assignments across the Asia Pacific region, ranging from searches for regional leadership and technical leadership roles in E&P companies, oil field services, consultancy firms, EPC (engineering, procurement, and construction) and Subsea as well as regional leadership for private equity backed portfolio businesses. Previously, he was vice president at Maxwell Drummond International. Mr. Greaves has 30 years of experience in recruitment and executive search. Prior to joining TRANSEARCH, he founded and led his own search boutique, IES HR Consultants.
